Why SLAM?

If it's good enough for Russell Coutts, it's worth checking out.

SLAM is a line of high-tech sailing clothing relatively new to the US, and when we wore it, we were impressed. Concepts, design, fabric choices, testing, the way SLAM stands behind the gear, it's all topnotch.

In the middle of a race, it's good to know that somebody has tested, say, the design of the pocket you've just zipped your GPS into. It's also good to know that if you manage to break a piece of SLAM gear, somebody is likely to ask you how it happened and if the problem could have been avoided. There's a high probability you'll see changes in the next version. How many companies actually care that much about what you think?
