A thick, luxurious full-zip fleece useful for the woman sailor. A little thicker and more sporty than SLAM's Aymor fleece, the Arctic Jacket zips up all the way to the top of its Mandarin collar, with a fabric tab to prevent the zipper from rubbing under the chin. Pockets have easy-to-operate zippers and sleeves have elastic pulls so they can be tightened for warmth.
Focus group says: We compared the Gill Arctic Fleece with SLAM's Aymor fleece, and liked both for different reasons. The Arctic Fleece was good-looking and warm, and the zipper pockets gave it a "sailability" edge. The SLAM Aymor is a more refined fabric and look, surprisingly tailored and flattering for a fleece, in a lovely warm fabric with details like shaped pockets and contrasting trim.
