We’re launching our Web site with SLAM, an Italian maker of Advanced Technology Sportswear. SLAM listens to sailors to find out how our gear can help us sail in any kind of weather, freeing us up to concentrate better on what we’re doing. We personally use and enjoy the SLAM products and we enjoy working with their people. Commit to some SLAM gear—whether you sail at 90 degrees or 47, you’ll be glad you did!
Come back often to see what’s new at iniki.com; we’ll be teaming up with other companies and organizations that can help you make things better out on the water. Please know that we take this seriously--you can be assured that iniki.com will add a brand or affiliate ONLY after rigorous personal testing! And of course, we want input from you on how the gear or the site can work better. Let us know if you’d like us to test or review any product that you think we should feature on iniki.com. |
Iniki (pronounced eee-nee-kee) is Hawaiian for the Celtic name Enid, the Welsh word for “soul” or “life.” In 1992, hurricane Iniki became the most powerful storm to strike Hawaii in recorded history. We named our company iniki.com out of respect for the power of the wind and water that (hopefully) provide our livelihood and (certainly) make our life worth living.
